What we keep, and who can see it

The free snapshot
Your twelve answers are stored with a random link so you can come back to them. We don't attach a name or email unless you ask us to email your results, in which case we keep your email to send that and, if you opt in, a few follow-up notes. Unsubscribe any time by replying.
The couple's assessment
Each partner has their own account and their own answers. Your partner can see your six domain scores and the questions where your answers differ. A small number of sensitive questions are marked private: they are never shown to your partner. Only you can see them unless you separately opt to include private items for a named approved pastor or mentor.
Pastor sharing is off by default. Each partner separately chooses a named approved recipient using that recipient's account email. A link alone grants no access. A recipient sees only results that person chose to share, and private items require a separate optional choice. Each person can revoke their own sharing from the results page. Copies already saved or printed cannot be recalled. Older links require fresh permission.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep a record of the purchase (amount, date, and the email Stripe reports) so we can support you.
Pastors
Applications are reviewed by hand. We keep the church, role, and contact details you provide so we can verify ministry roles and reach you. Couples who open your snapshot link or share their results with you are listed in your portal.
Optional guide follow-up emails
Requesting the free guide does not subscribe you to marketing emails. If you select the separate optional checkbox and confirm using the email link, we store your email address, consent version, request and confirmation times, and delivery progress to send three English-language conversation emails over the next week, including information about the book and assessment. Each email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops the remaining series; guide access stays available. We use our website email sender and do not automatically add existing customers or guide recipients. Unconfirmed requests are removed after 30 days.
Site activity counts
We keep daily totals for public page visits, clicks to Amazon, guide requests, checkout starts, and assessment starts. A broad source such as Instagram or Google may be included. These totals do not contain names, emails, IP addresses, assessment answers, or full referring links. We use the existing site session to avoid counting repeated actions in the same day. We do not add advertising cookies or send these counts to an outside analytics service. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals turn off this counting. Amazon book purchases happen outside this site and cannot be measured here.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information.
- We don't use advertising trackers on this site.
- We don't share assessment answers with anyone you haven't chosen.
Deleting your data
Email hello@beforeandforever.org from the address on your account and we'll delete your account and answers.
